Our School

St. Andrews Consolidated School is located in the picturesque village of St. Andrews, Antigonish County, Nova Scotia.

Our school is a Pre-Primary to Grade Six facility with a student enrollment of 286 for the 2021-2022 school year.  Our school staff is dedicated to educating students to be life-long learners, respectful of self and others, technologically literate, effective problem solvers and communicators. Our mission is to optimize the learning opportunities for the whole learner and for all learners.   We believe in the facilitation of education for all children by making necessary accommodations for students' strengths and needs to ultimately increase achievement.

Our school is proud to reflect the Celtic heritage of our community by offering a Core Gaelic language instructional program to students in Grades Four to Six as an alternative to the regular Core French.  We are slowly becoming a multicultural community where we celebrate many cultures in our community including our African Nova Scotian, Mi'kmaq, Acadian and Dutch families through classroom and school events.

A warm welcome from the students and staff of St. Andrews Consolidated School.
